New York City Housing Authority The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) provides affordable Section 8 housing across New York City. However, maintaining their buildings requires considerable legwork. NYCHA manages 340 developments, with 3,500 elevators and 180,000 individual apartments. They wanted to complete inspections using mobile devices and integrate with work order software to ensure timely capture and completion of items requiring maintenance. Using GBmobile, separate inspections applications were developed for elevators, apartments and Section 8 housing. NYCHA inspectors were able to work faster, completing more inspections per day, and additionally reducing the time needed to complete work orders. How can I relate?
