Vehicle Inspections New York State's Office of Parks & Historic Preservation Marine Vehicle Inspections New York's Parks department needed a solution to better manage their annual inspections and issuance of on-site permits for registered boats and marine vehicles in New York State. The existing process involved collecting paper forms on site and then re-entering them into a Microsoft Access database. Using the GBmobile platform, they deployed a handheld solution giving inspectors access to all registered vessels, previous visit history, and the ability to complete new inspections and print permits and reports in the field.
